In Light Of Death: A Musical Meditation was a 3 hour improvised musical performance that took place on

May 31 2014 at the Centre For Social Innovation (Annex) Toronto, Canada as part of the Festival Of Social Innovation, the 10 year anniversary of CSI.

 

Presented by the Bureau Of Power And Light art collective, based in Toronto, the aim of the performance was to create a space for the performers and audience to reflect on mortality, impermanence and living a more meaningful and compassionate life in light of it all. It was the first time this ensemble played together and there were no rehearsals.
