our story

Bureau Of Power And Light (BPL) art collective produces multi-media artworks that foster empathy and cultivate positive social impact.

We create original content and engage in meaningful collaborations to elevate diverse stories through Music, Film, Visual Arts, Live Performance, Digital Media and Public Art. When curating and mounting art exhibitions or performances, producing short films or public murals, we work with Artists and Communities, Institutional and Individual Partners, Entrepreneurs and Organizations to make the world a better place through innovative accessible art experiences.

our mission

  • Advocate for artists and the arts in society at large.

  • Amplify the message that art is medicine for both artists and audience by providing a means to process our lives towards a more meaningful, authentic existence.

  • Foster empathy through the creation, exhibition, and facilitation of multimedia artworks

  • Employ the arts to challenge our convictions and preconceived notions

  • Inspire important conversations that lead to meaningful engagement in making the world a better place for all living beings

  • Demonstrate the value of the arts as an effectual vehicle and agent for social change and activism

  • Create and support platforms for under-represented voices
